To make it more clear that this project can be used outside of Parcel, this rebrands Parcel CSS as Lightning CSS. The name conveys both build speed and loading speed (via minification). I already bought lightningcss.dev, and made a placeholder npm package. Plan would be to build a more full featured website with the playground as well as some docs. We could continue publishing under
@parcel/cssas an alias tolightningcssfor backward compatibility.Any feedback is welcome!
